I was heading towards bus stop after quite an interesting day at work (something which is rare) when suddenly I started humming this wonderful song and inadvertently it brought smile to my face .I have quite fascinating bonding with this particular song .
The story goes back to Synapse'06 when I was in my first year .Five of us Su du,Rathi,Anurag ,Sana and urs' truly being inspired by Sharma bhaiya decided to participate in footloose .It's still a mystery for me as how Rathi was able to convince me on this (may be I was doped).So, here were four newbie and Rathi as somewhat decent dancer under surveilliance of dance Guru Sharma bhaiya practised day and night to get the steps right .Rathi was the one for whom the task was a cinch but for rest of us it was like climbing a ben .It was not as if we had no experience of tapping our legs previously but it was more or less confined to DJ parties and shaadis .
After all the hard work came the big day .One thing good about all of us was that we all were well aware of our limitations and knew that we didn't even had the wildest chance to put up some kind of competition .And organizers did help us by allowing us to start the proceedings .Actually It really was a boon cuz by that time cameras weren't flashing (so there is no legtimate proof that we actually danced :Yes!:).Well I wasn't nervous that night but it was more that I wanted to prove something but to whom is what I haven't found .Special thanks to Rathi cuz of his impeccable movements he generated most of the attention and my awful performance was more or less unnoticed .After my horrendous show was over I did receive all kinds of comments from "Well Done!" to "Kya gand tha be" .The song "Dil ko tumse pyaar hua.."will remain special for me and will remind me of biggest folly in daiict(so far)...

yaar sabse badi baat apan convince kaise huan the dance karne ke liye. Rathi(our leader) make a gang tht didn't know how to dance nd trained us even trained single step for 100 times harhal u know. nd i knew "sabse jyada raging meri hi hui thi". these 7 days r the unforgetable dys of our life. harshal tere ko yaad han when i loose hope ke ab mere se nhi hoga. nd harshal tht's wrong dance ke just pehle sabki f.... padhi thi.. we r thinking tht jaise bhi complete the dance without error nd with synchro..
nd now put ur hands on ur heart nd sing song nd dance "dil ko tumse pyar huan".. hehe

dance but not a dance every 1 were astonishing how we can do tat with this song it was amazing we were being 1st time at stage n doing wat ever v learned from our choerographer rathi n the Guru Sharma Bhaiya he said "jus yar masti ke liye karo mat socho kaisa kar rahe ho" n fianlly we did it in masti masti me n it was my dream to tat at least we perform at stage once shadi home function kafi ho gaye ab ek bar stage per bus tat all v were thinking. Maja to kafi aaya tha our no bhi to 1st per tha Tat nite was special v cheere for r dance which v had after Dil ko tumse it was chakle chakle remix tat muzik is still my fav n will forever..(keep rolling ur hands come on lets party..)

Dil Ko Tumse Pyar Hua.... A song which nobody of us can forget.. We had a performance even i should say an amazing performance bcoz nobody was thinking that one can dance on it. but we did it. We got lot of praise and a bit abusive comments also... but we were happy wid wat we had done. That nite of FOOTLOOSE is unforgettable. i want to thank all buddies who bore me and they said nothing when i scolded on them. A lot of support and guidance is given by Sharma Bhaiya...All of us how get convinced abt this dance, it is still a mystery. Thnx Harshal u remembered still those beautiful moments.. we had our practice for 6 days and then finally performed. As anurag said i took a lot of ragging yes i really took..but they also supported me and Sana was the main chatter box who keep cracking all time PJ and we had a fun. Sana loved to dance on "Chakle chakle.." nd he still does.. Finally i should sum wid the only one thing that We rocked that nite in our lyf. Thnx Harshal.
